Service Description
Yoga Nidra is a Deep relaxing “Sleep Meditation” All you need is a quiet space in your house where you can be undisturbed for about 40-45 minutes. You can rest in Shavasana, Yoga’s relaxation pose, with your knees elevated. You also can sit in a comfortable chair. When the body slows down, the temperature of your body becomes a little cooler. You may like to cover yourself with a blanket. Some people like to cover their eyes with an eye pillow. Do what makes you most at ease. Adding aroma oils or insect is another way to make your experience deeper and more personal. We cannot learn enough about Self Care. Allowing the words of the guided awareness “wash” over you. Not necessarily listening to the words mentally, but more energetically. Instead of thinking and doing you go into a feeling and being. There are times, that you may fall asleep. Do not worry that you missed everything, you still feel the effect. Your body may just needed that. Other times, you may have the feeling that you fell asleep, but you heard me talking all the time, however, now at the end, feeling very relaxed and refreshed. No matter how your body or mind is affected. Just go with the flow. Each experience can be different. I personally like to journal after each session. Sometimes words, phrases or thought come up and you may like to remember them later.
